 Chaplain Field-Specific Support

AMC’s recognizes that chaplains working in different fields have unique needs. Toward this end, we provide communications networks for resource sharing, collective problem solving, and dissemination of best practices, as well as monthly “huddles” for chaplains to check-in and explore different topics in depth by field led by their respective Vice Presidents: corrections, community, education, healthcare, and military. Given the sense of isolation many Muslim chaplains find in their work environments where they are typically the only Muslim (and often the first), these programs have been some of the most valuable and beneficial AMC services.
